ValoBoard currently uses no advertising or analytics cookies. We do not track you across websites, and we do not build a profile of you.

We do store some settings in your browser so the site works — details below.

2. What we store on your device

Essential storage

Your browser saves small preferences locally — display settings, and whether you have dismissed notices. This information stays on your device and is never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Saving custom leaderboards to your browser is planned and not yet active. A board you build today lasts only until you leave the page.

Hosting and security

Our providers (Vercel, Railway and Cloudflare) may set essential cookies to route traffic and protect against abuse. These are required for the site to function and do not track you for advertising.

3. Advertising — planned, not yet active

ValoBoard intends to run advertising to keep the site free. No advertising cookies are currently set.

When advertising launches, third-party cookies will be involved. Before that happens we will:

• show a consent banner and ask permission before setting any non-essential cookie
• let you decline or change your mind at any time
• update this policy to name the advertising partners involved

You will not find advertising cookies appearing quietly without notice.

4. Controlling cookies

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings — all major browsers explain how in their help pages. Blocking essential storage may stop parts of the site working, such as remembering your display settings.
